It is Kate.
Generally, low literacy and carelessness lead to the improper spelling of Kate Gosselin's name. Her name is splashed all over the TLC website, numerous tabloid sites and blogs.
Spelling someone's name correctly shows regard for that person. If someone does not have time to get a name right - then they clearly do not care about the person much.
How much help the Gosselins have had while raising their children is a hot topic on message boards and blogs about 'Jon & Kate Plus 8." While Kate Gosselin contends that they have never had a nanny, other say that the Gosselins have had substantial round-the-clock help since the birth of the sextuplets. Initially, a cadre of organized volunteers and a state funded nurse helped the Gosselins care for their children. After the first year, the state stopped funding for the nurse, but some volunteers continued to assist the Gosselins. Then, Dr. Phil provided a the Gosselins with a girl from Nannies 4 Hire. Still, the Gosselins continue to assert that they have never had a nanny. As their fame grew, the Gosselins continue to use paid "people" to help them manage their brood of 8. While they may not be nannies, they do things that most people would typically associate with a nanny caring for children. The exact number is not known, however the Gosselin's former nurse said that Kate Gosselin had fired more than 2 dozen nurses prior to her arrival in the Gosselin home.
During season 2, the Gosselins hired a babysitter from nannies4hire. She is no longer there, but recently they have said on newer episodes that they will never have a nanny. At this time, the Gosselins have a helper that helps them out 4-6 hours a day. The nanny issue is one of the hot-topics of discussion surrounding the Gosselins and their reality show. Is a help that is there 4-6 hours a day full time? Technically no. Is she a a formal nanny? Technically, no, since she helps the family with general household duties as well. According to the Gosselins, they are doing it 'on their own." But reports and comments from the Gosselins themselves indicate they do have help. It is up to you to decide the rest. In a recent episode, Kate Gosselin said their current babysitter prefers her privacy, so she won't be on camera or have her identity revealed.

There are many people who help Jon and Kate. Jon and Kate Gosselin sometimes get help from family and friends when needed. On their show, you'll frequently see people such as: Aunt Jodi, Beth Carson, Jenny, Carla, Carla's daughter, and other family, friends, and neighbors. However, there are rumors going around saying that Aunt Jodi and Beth will no longer be on their show for various reasons.
Jon and Kate rarely talk about the grandparents. During the View FAQ episode of season 4 they explained that Jon's father is deceased, and his mother does not live nearby. According to Kate her parents "did not know how to help us" - and while they live in the same general area, they choose not to be on camera.
She helped children from St. Jude, I think.
Despite the active speculation across the Internet, there is no public information on the relationship between Beth Carson and Kate Gosselin.Beth was a great friend to the Gosselins during their most trying time, helping them get a step up and to share the original story of the sextuplet pregnancy and the many people who stepped up to bless Jon, Kate and the children in "Multiple Blessings."Beth demonstrated class and grace by keeping things private and not adding to the already heated debate regarding the Gosselins and Kate Gosselin in particular. That being said, there is no verified information on if Beth and Kate are in a fight.Opinions from various WikianswerersYes they are. They haven't talked to each other since they wrote that book togetherNobody really knows why they're in a fight.Beth is or was one of Kate's close friends. Who knows now?It is my understanding that Beth and Kate are now estranged - like many people in their lives. How sad for the kids to loose people that love them, they are too little to understand and only know that people they loved and stayed with are now gone.NoI heard that it once again had to do with money! Just like Aunt Jodie, TLC wanted to pay Beth for her time on the show and Kate flipped out saying, "No one will benefit financially from my children".
the correct spelling is "help desk" you were actually right!

Not exactly. Jodi's on-camera help for the Gosselins came to an end after a kerfuffle with TLC and the Gosselins regarding the appearance of 'regulars" on the Gosselin's reality show 'Jon & Kate Plus 8." While Jodi always made it clear that she volunteered her assistance with no expectation of renumeration, TLC insisted on a contract and payment agreement for her time... while Kate insisted that "only her family" be compensated for appearing on the reality show. Jodi has stated in interviews that she never expected to be paid for her time. However, the strain of caring for the multiples in addition to her own 4 children for multiple days at a time, on short notice, and with the expectation to perform with zero errors clearly was taxing. There is no direct information on Jodi's reaction to the lambasting that was delivered by both Jon and Kate in the wake of the gum incident... but the shame, humiliation and embarrassment can be pretty easy to imagine. Again, the decision to no longer use friends and family to babysit for the Gosselin children was the Gosselins... not the Krieders. The time-line of events is not entirely clear, but around this same time the confusion over contracts and payments reared its ugly head. In an interview posted to RadarOnline Kevin (Kate's brother) said he went over to discuss the issue with his sister directly, but was met with an explosive and strident response by Kate. Kate's position was "only my family" gets money. At this point, TLC determined that the Kreiders could not be on the show without a contract. The Krieder's participation in any camera time.. along with any contact with the Gosselins was terminated. According to Kevin, they were paid a modest amount for the time they had already appeared on camera (somewhere around $3,000.) - and since that time have been of little use to his sister and her brood.
