No, Kate and Beth are good friends. Beth and Kate met shortly after the birth of the sextuplets when Beth volunteered to help feed the babies. Since then, Beth and Kate have taken day trips to the spa, and Beth sometimes accompanies the family on vacation to help supervise the children. Beth also babysits some of the kids when Jon and Kate have things to do.
