people poach elephants because of there tusks and there fat on there body that is called skin. they also poach elephants because of the meat inside of them the bones can be used to make items such as necklaces and jewlery.

they will also be poached for revenge. when an elephant tramples a plantation, people will kill the first elephant in sight, regardless of if it was the one that trampled the plantation
