First of all I think we shouldn't pollute water because it contains bacteria, and we drink it. Over 71% of earth surface is covered with water bodies and other chemicals that humans tip in the drain.
Most people pollute because they don't want to pay for someone to pick up the garbage and dispose of it properly. Some people just don't care what happens to it or where it goes as long as they don't have to carry it around with them any longer.
