There is no prophecy in The Bible that specified that anything special would happen in the year 2012.
However, the Ancient Mayan (also known as the MesoAmerican Long Count Calender) calendar which was 5,126 years old, ended on December 21, 2012.
There has been much speculation that this signaled a prophetic end of the world as other theories were adapted by certain New Age believers.
In addition, on this date, there occurred an astronomical alignment of the earth, the sun and the moon would happen.
While there are Bible prophecies that many believe are being fulfilled today, the Bible also clearly states the following:
(Mark 13:32, 33) 32 “Concerning that day or the hour nobody knows, neither the angels in heaven nor the Son, but the Father. 33 Keep looking, keep awake, for YOU do not know when the appointed time is.

(Matthew 24:36-39) 36 “Concerning that day and hour nobody knows, neither the angels of the heavens nor the Son, but only the Father. 37 For just as the days of Noah were, so the presence of the Son of man will be. 38 For as they were in those days before the flood, eating and drinking, men marrying and women being given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark; 39 and they took no note until the flood came and swept them all away, so the presence of the Son of man will be. . .

∙ 13y agoIt says that will be the " end of all evil " not the end of the world I mean come-on people its its just common sense how can it be true that the world will end in 2012 when all of the science is against it.
