because it is beautiful and farmers get provided with rich soil and miners get minerals and people get hot springs and etc.
People live near volcano's mainly for the heating they can provide. They would not have to heat up water they can just get that from hot springs around the volcano.
I think it"s because the soil around volcanoes is really fertile; great for farming
why are houses not near volcanoes
People should not live near active volcanoes due to (of course) a volcanic eruption. But people can live near extinct volcanoes.
Well you wouldn't want to live near a volcano would you? Its quite obvious volcanoes erupt hot lava/magma which burns everything in its path, including people. People do live near volcanoes though, but they live near dormant or extinct volcanoes and have warnings before erruptions and are usually able to escape if they keep calm. Back to why you shouldn't live near them. The areas around volcanoes have a more likely chance of an earthquake. Also the areas around volcanoes that have erupted before is often "black" and bare. Volcanoes release poisonous gases too.
Farmers mostly live near volcanoes. They live near volcanoes because of the good fertilizer which makes good crops.
There are many people lives near the volcanoes around the world. But for very active volcanoes that erupt continuously, Merapi Volcano (erupt at least once in 2-6years) in Central Java, Indonesia has many population just 1-5 from the summit.

Most people know that volcanoes are dangerous, and it's true. But why do people still live near volcanoes? Some people live near volcanoes because of the ash it produces. Ash is good fertilizer for the soil and crops. Also volcanoes can create new land.
People living near a dormant volcano may be unaware of the danger. A dormant volcano may become active at any point of timeand the people living near the volcano may not realize it is about to erupt.
A persuasive essay is written in order to convince the reader of a position or idea. A persuasive essay on the topic of volcanoes might discuss how volcanoes are extremely dangerous, and why people should not live near them.
