people sell cannabis to ake money of course, almost all cannabis sellers smoke the substance themselves. by selling cannabis it can allow them to smoke more weed then they normally would for almost free. also atleast in Canada selling weed really isn't a difficult thing to do so if your asking why its to make money, same reason people sell any drug
