This has been a great debate previously. I am against testing on animals because it has been proved ineffective regarding drugs, etc. Animals are not human beings. I gave an alternative which was used in the past (not sure if they still use it) that convicts have the right (not forced) to give back to society and basically be guinea pigs for certain medications. The DNA of animals is far different than humans.

∙ 15y agothe reason people test on animals is because they are mean and they have nothing better to do. they have no heart they just think because animals are not humas you know what i have a quote for you this would be "Ask the experimenters why they experimen on animals, and the answer is: " Because the animals are like us." Ask the experimenters why it is morally okay to experiment on animals the answer is:" Because the animals are not like us." Animals experimentation rests on a logical contradiction."-Charles R. Companies use animal testing because of the very few similarities between human and animal tissue and DNA. They think that by testing on animals before using the drug/make-up etc on humans they can diminish the possibility of the humans getting any side-effects.
Because they think animals are not as important as humans and they don't care if they die while being tested on their products.
Because scientists think that animals are not important so they test their new experiments on animals not in people.well I hate scientists do that so if your a scientists please! don't test your experiments on animals.=(
