Why do people think that cats are evil?

Does it really matter? I mean.... who cares?!?! People either like cats or they don't! Oh and i have something else to say...... If you have an instagram account then please follow me. Oh and if you dont have an instagram account then go get your ipad, iPod, iphone, etc...... and go to the app store and type in the search bar instagram. then it should show a little camera thing. Oh and down below is my real answer to your question.

One persons theories:Some people dislike cats because they have the appearance of being sly, even lazy. While this is partially true, a cat will only be as lazy as it is given chance to be. Domestic cats who have their food and shelter given to them have less need to hunt and excercise than their wild counterparts. As for being sly, they are just being clever & inventive. This is the mark of a high level of intelligence, and it's a wonder to behold but a lot of people find it frustrating to think they have been outsmarted by an animal!

Additionally, many people don't like them because they are free-spirited and independant. Cats hate doing what they're told and are virtually untrainable. The concept of an indomitable will is something that we as a race have never been very welcoming toward.

Then there's the old saying: "you do not own a cat... it owns you". This is a commonly misinterpreted idea. Cats, unlike dogs do not naturally live in hierachies and cannot grasp the concept of having a "master". Instead, they have piers and rivals. To a cat, a human is just another cat to be either trusted or feared! Most people subconsciously resent the idea of an animal as an equal and so are inclined to dislike cats.

if you are taking about the people on the internets who say"all kittehs ar the evil" and "evil cat - isn't going to take no for an answer" then they are just a pile of demented people who have nothing better to do than to fool around and come up with sarcastic jokes and you shouldn't listen to them at all. that black cat crossing the road story is also nonsense. other than that i can't think of any reason why anyone would ever think cats are evil,but maybe cats are evil in some specific religion but i know nothing about them.

Becuss Because they fly with witches, (Even though it's just a myth) But also because they look creepy and "have 9 lives"
