People use relative location more because if your going somewhere you need to know what other places are surrounding that place your going to, or some people might use it if they don't know the location there going to they might know a place nearby it.

Most people don't. We only use relative locations when we want to refer to a place in reference to another place. You might use relative locations around town, when giving directions; "Go to the corner of Elm and Main, and then go south three blocks and turn left."
Most people would use an "absolute" location, such as "123 east Oak Avenue, Smithfield, Kansas, USA".
Relative locations are for maps to pirate treasure; "Go to the big rock and take 25 paces toward the palm tree, then dig!"
