I think there are two reasons. the first reasons is health problem.if you are too fat,it will be hard for you to move.what's worse is that you will easily be attack by hypertension,Diabetes,etc. another reasons is for beauty.far people are not very good looking.some people lose too much weight,because they think "the thinner,the better",that's not a healthy way.
