We often wonder about our family tree. This has to do with origins. Even people who are adopted early in life, they still wonder about their biological parents. They go to great lengths for answers. Once these things are 'filled in', they find a sense of contentment.
Likewise in school, they teach us 'history'. This fills an inner curiosity.
