Your fingerprints. These are different on each finger. Imagine if they only took the print from one finger - a desperate enough suspect could cut the fingertip off and make himself untracable. Or in less extreme cases, it can make identifying a suspect much harder if a record is only taken of one finger, but the police find the same suspect's other fingerprints on a piece of evidence.

Your question in and of itself is ignorant. What is a real police department and what is a fake police department? It implies that fake police departments exist and are allowed to exist. That is ridiculous. To question whether a police department is real is just ludicrous and doesn't make any sense at all. Upon what are you basing your question? People have some really weird and rather stupid misperceptions about law enforcement. Yes, the Twin Rivers Police Department is a real police department. They have the same peace officer authority granted by the State and can do the same things as any other local police or sheriffs department and highway patrol.
I doubt it, with all the police lay offs, I would say good chance of no.

A "Metro" or "Metropolitan" police department is usually one that works over several governmental boundaries or was formed from smaller agencies. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is an example of this. The department was formed from the former Las Vegas Police Department and Clark County Sheriff's Office.Added: Two other examples: The Metropolitan Police of The District of Columbia (MPDC) is the city police department of Washington, DC and when it was formed it took its name from the "Metropolitan Police" of London. In the same geographical area is: The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority Police (commonly referred to as the "Metro Police" because the subway system in Washington DC and the Maryland and VIrginia suburbs is known as "The Metro"). Members of this department are certified and sworn as LEO's in all three jurisdictions.
