If you mean lose their fur then I can help you. Rabbit lose their fur when they moult. Moulting happens about twice a year and is when the old fur dies and falls out, but it is replaced with new fur. Rabbits have 2 types of coat: a thick one for winter, and a thinner one for summer. The winter coat is darker and the summer coat is lighter, because light colour reflect the heat so the rabbit won't get too hot.
Rabbits do not have hair they will always have fur so thats why they have fur in the summer.
During the natural moulting process when it gets hot. Also if they have mange or fur mites.
Lionhead rabbits have the same kind of fur as other rabbits except around their head and neck they have a "mane." The mane might be made up of the same kind of fur as they have on the rest of their body (just a bit longer), or it might be a woolly kind of fur (softer, lighter, maybe a little crimped). Lionheads have the same kinds of colours on their fur as other rabbits do.
