Why do religious people fear although they have convictions and faith in God?

from an Islamic point of view: Dualism is present in the world like the presence of male and female, day and night, heat and coldness, electron and proton, matter and antimatter, positive and negative, left and right, dark and light, heat and coldness, heaven and hell, therefore you have to fear the justice of Allah by avoiding sins and in the same time you have to hope for his mercy for what happened in the past ,because he promised he will forgive the past sins of the people who believe in his mercy.

The moment truth prevails at each phases in time then the rigid religious convicts fail to support one's faith.Religion differs from religious practices,scriptures or faith that is imbibed as convictions by individuals as the absolute reality & Truth within their cognitive neural cortices matrix domain that tends to secure mortals in fear of Death,the unknown entity & future. 2.Rationality fails to convince abstractions while science investigates to give empirical truth.This is the reason that even orthodox religious people today are convinced of the realty and lose their faith and permit liberal thought. 3. Orthodoxies however view this failure as evil temptation by Satan in convictions of scriptures as the absolute truth and advise prayers to redeem from this evil in repentance and surrender to the unknown.
