Ships and planes get lost everywhere. The Bermuda Triangle has become a bit of a legend because of movie makers and and a whole heap of what ifs. There is no evidence, other then that made up by people with fertile imaginations, that the Bermuda triangle is any more dangerous then anywhere else. You are no more likely to vanish there than anywhere else with similar weather and traffic.
See Larry Kusche's book "The Bermuda Triangle Mystery-Solved" if you really want to know what is going on.
There are a few theories. One is that pockets of natural gas will occasionally dislodge themselves and suck ships down. This has never been known to happen in real life. It is just something someone made up.
Another is that it has its own magnetic field which is also highly unlikely. The Earth could not possibly generate a magnetic pull sufficient to pull a plane or ship down, and any compass readings from a magnetic compass are checked against actual sun and star observations. In other words, no one in their right mind depends so solely on a mag compass.
The myth most likely stems from some form of an ancient legend such as a sea monster dwelling in the area that sank ships. The only reason the Triangle seems to have so many dissapearing ships is because if a ship sinks in it it will get much much more publicity than a ship sinking oh say off the coast of Japan.
it is because of the gravity.
the Bermuda triangle lies in the vortex(believe the center of gravity of earth)
Planes use a navigational technique called triangulation to find their location. While this works great in most areas, the plane's radio can become confused when it enters a triangular area, not knowing whether the triangles it sees are it's own or just part of the terrain. The Bermuda Triangle is the most triangular area in the world, so many flights crash do to triangulation confusions.
no not just planes most of them are ships, planes, boats and many other things
An area in the western Atlantic Ocean where many ships and planes are supposed to have been mysteriously lost .
No. The triangle is a HUGE area, and the number of lost ships and planes is just as it should be, considering the size, and the amount of traffic.
about 48
They don't. One has nothing to do with the other.
I have no idea
No, now a days boats (and planes) have advanced compass, GPS, whatever(s) and don't get lost in the Bermuda Triangle.
The Bermuda Triangle is an area of ocean where many planes, ships, and boats have gone missing without a trace. Often times, crafts will venture in there and are sometimes never again heard from. Bermuda, Miami, Florida, and San Juan, Puerto Rico form the points of the Triangle. The Bermuda Triangle is an area of the Atlantic Ocean - shaped like a triangle - with points in Bermuda, Florida, and Puerto Rico. A lot of planes and watercraft have supposedly disappeared in this area, where supernatural forces are blamed for the disappearance of ships, boats and planes, including Flight 19. People are to scared to see inside it cause its to mysterious that they might get lost in it. It is an area where many inexperience sailors and pilots have been lost. It has been hyped by the sensationalising press because it sells publications to gullible people who are willing to believe any outrageous story that is yet to be fully explained.
Yes it is is an area with magnetic fields so high it just gets rid off/ breaks navigation systems causing the ships and planes to get lost in the huge storms they have there.
The Bermuda Triangle is above the lost city of atlantis. The way ships and aircrafts go missing is because there are pyramids that trigger magnetic signals which pull in whatever there is in the area of them into the Bermuda Triangle. -Tristin Anduze
Some people say it is a myth, Others think the most reasonable answer for all the disappearance's is because of a very strong magnetic force witch would be a natural phenomenon but because most people are unsure of the mysterious occurrences that happen in the Bermuda triangle we are not completely sure about what exactly happens in these strange cases.
Bermuda Triangle is a triangular area of the Atlantic Ocean bounded by Bermuda, Puerto Rico, and a point near Melbourne, Florida. A book by Lawrence David Kusche explained that the reason for the "disapperances" are caused by storms in the triangle area by infrasound powerful enough to destroy ships, planes and humans as well.
