All animals have to remove bodily waste from their system
No - it's a defence mechanism. They drop their tails to escape being captured (or eaten). Skinks do not reproduce asexually.
Drop-tail skinks eat fruits and vegetables, but vegetables have to be cooked before they will eat them. The drop-tail skink is a small common skink often seen in suburban gardens in Melbourne, Perth, Sydney and Brisbane in Australia.
Skinks
Some lizards such as skinks loose their tails when grabbed.
yes, but loses it's markings.
A boy skink will have a bump underneath the tail a girl will have a closed up hole
Most reptiles to not easily loose their tails, however some types of lizard including certain skinks shed their tails to distract predators.
It's impossible. Snake tails don't grow back. Only certain types of skinks can have their tails grown back. If the tail is chopped off too far up the spine, it will die. If just the tip of it is cut off, it might heal, but it will be painful and could get infected.
hi you tell a boy from a girl lizard by the thickness of the tail the boys tail are more thick than girls
I am not sure why the tails of chipmunks, squirrels, lizards and the ... pointy things of starfish can drop off, but I DO KNOW that if you try and catch a lizard, and you grab on the tail, it will drop off. Lizards use that as self-defense, but for a starfish, it is part of their life. Hope this helped! ~Daydream617
Lizards, as a method of self defense, will drop their tails off if they are extremely scared. They do this so that if they are being chased, the predator would try to eat the tail while the lizard escapes. The tail does grow back, but it will take some time.
