Snakes are cold blooded and therefore rely on their environment to either heat them up or cool them down. They lie in the sun to stay warm.
In the wild they will seek shelter. They will go under a cool rock, or sit in a puddle of water. Snakes can not survive direct heat of over 100 degrees.

They would need a cool place to stay, with shade and, preferably, with air conditioning.
They roll in mud or dirt. They also try to get in the shade when it is hot. They aren't stupid, and know how to stay cool.

In Spain during the summer it is super hot, that you can not stay outside, not even in the shade! In winter time, it's not too cold, but every couple of years, it snows in the northern area.
