Ribs are very tough and require long and slow cooking. Most are cooked in ovens at temps that are too high in order to cook faster. If you boil first (not recommended) the cooking process is cut in half and the ribs will be tender rather than chewy.
First off I am a certified chef and boiling ribs is not necessarily not recommended it will make you ribs more tender. A great way to cook ribs is once you buy them if you plan on cooking them that night is to put dry season or rub on the ribs and cook them for 4 hours in the oven at 350 and then put them on the grill for 30 min- 1 hour this is when you put the BBQ sauce on them. Another way to make ribs is if you have a smoker and cook them for at least 5 hours and sprinkle with dry seasoning and let them cook with no sauce for 3 hours the last 2 place the sauce on them. The recipe for dry season is as follows 2 tbsp paprika, 1 tbsp fresh ground black pepper, 1 tbsp dark brown sugar, 1 1/2 tsp salt, 1 1/2 tsp celery salt, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp dry mustard, 1 tsp cumin, 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper. For the sauce 2 cups distilled vinegar, 1/2 cup water, 1/2 cup Dijon mustard, 1 tbsp salt, 2 cups hickory chips or chunks soaked in cold water

Oven cooking is a non-pressurized method of cooking that cooks slower through convection and radiant heat methods. Pressure cooking is a pressurized, fast cooking method that speeds up the cooking process. If you have the time, oven cooking is preferred, but if you wish to save energy and time, pressure cooking is the way to go.
dont put the utensils in the food when yr cooking numpty
The different combination cooking methods are as follows: bake + broil, sear + bake, sear + roast, boil + simmer, boil + bake, and poach + fry. These are the most common methods of combination cooking, however this list never ends.
YES BECAUSE AN OVEN USES A PROCESS CALLED CONVECTION WHICH COOKS FOOD FROM THE INSIDE OUT. BOTH POT PIES WILL COOK EVENLY IN THE OVEN, AT THE SAME TIME.
I feel like a wall oven is a necessity in a luxury (trendy) kitchen. The units not only look great but they also keep cooks from stooping over while cooking.
A conventional oven cooks your food with out air circulation. Where as a convection oven has a fan which allows the air to flow around and cooks your food faster and more evenly.
When food is placed inside the microwave oven, the microwave released will 'agitate' the water molecules in the food, which causes heat to be produced, which then cooks the food.
You turn it on then it cooks what you put in it.
it cooks and if left long enough in the oven it burns. only if the oven is on.
Take it out of the oven before it cooks through. When you take something out of the oven, it continues to bake in the hot pan. Take the brownies out early next time!
