Why do people ask dumb questions onthis site?
Doubtless many questions appear 'dumb' when you know the answer. Doubtless many 'dumb' children ask unnecessary questions. The reasons they do so are as varied as those that ask them.

This site gets their answers from the general public, meaning, random people. Amongst these people are some who are not as smart as you may like therefore giving answers you may see as dumb.

You must mean Dum-Dum questions. You will probably find a lot of Dum-Dum questions on the site once we begin to approach Halloween. Dum-Dums are a very popular sucker, and not very expensive, which is why it is such a popular candy for people to hand out to Trick-or-Treaters.

Because it is a site where people answer the random questions of other people.. Simple enough.
Why does nobody on this website answer your questions?
There are. There are plenty of people on this site who answer questions on this site. The thing is; there are not enough answerers for all the questions that come in. You'll see people on this site with thousands of answers that haven't even put a dent in all the questions on this site. Also many questions go unanswered when they are not categorized because at that point, they are put in the overflowing "uncategorized" category.
