There are many different branches of Christianity that have MANY different opinions about whether fighting or punishment is in "good terms" with God, Jesus, the Pope, etc.. Also, if the individual Christian follower has different opinions about what Christianity really is, then there really is no true answer about whether it's right to fight in wars or not to them.
