in some cases men feel like they have to be the bigger, stonger person and feel like they have to have a barrier to protect you and not show any feelings. this can be dealt with if you take your time and slowly keep telling them that they mean alot to you and that it would be good if he opened up from time to time. on the other hand he may have been hurt in the past and to stop this from happening again he builds a barrier. this can only take time to break down.
Answer
If you can't show the man you love affection then something is wrong in the relationship. It could be an issue with trust, resentment, anger over something or something along those lines. If you really love someone showing affection comes naturally and you want to show affection towards that person. If it's only a short term problem then it could be one of the things I listed above. If it's long term then I might question whether the love is really there. It also could be an issue of being afraid of being close to anyone. Whatever it is, it's an issue that should be addressed for that person's sake.

Answer #1 Some of them do!!! Answer #2 Sometimes. But not always. Guys don't show their affection the same way girls do. They may joke, hit, poke, etc. When guys do show affection, it's more about making the girl happy. In a guy's mind, that's the point. To make the one they care about happy. In private, guys are more likely to hold and show affection because there aren't any others around to act "cool" for. Don't worry about that unless it becomes rude. The girl should be polite, as well, and understand that.
Jealousy is not a healthy way to handle relationships. It's important to communicate openly and honestly with your boyfriend about how you're feeling and address any issues directly. Instead of trying to make him jealous, focus on building a strong and trusting relationship based on mutual respect and understanding.
Some guys give girls hickeys as a way to mark their territory or show possession. It can also be a way to show affection or intimacy. However, it's important to remember that hickeys should always be consensual.
Sometimes it is a "cool" issue, because they think its cool to kiss you in front of his friends, or whatever he does, so that gives him "points" with his friends, or something like that. At home, he doesn't show the same affection because he's not worrying about what his friends will think.
