Why do some guys wants to date but they dont want to brake friendship?

Guys are sweet and honest but they care more about the friends they have then a girl (or guy) who they like. If it opposes any of their friends views they probably won't go into a relationship. Also, if it creates awkwardness then guys will probably also avoid it. Guys are complicated underneath and don't like showing it, you have to break the ice to understand them.
