It is considered auspicious and a matter of praise as well to suffix the phrase SHRI ( glorious or worthy) before one's name. In an effort to increase this feeling some saints suffix 108 even before Shri! This has noo particular meaning or benefit except self-esteem or praise. Some even suffix 1008!
