The Earth rotates, making it different times in different places.
There are four. It is the same number and roughly the same location as those of the contiguous United States (main, continuous states excluding Hawaii and Alaska).
The united states has several different time zones, you should probably be more specific. Some have Eastern, central, pacific, or mountain. ?
the differences is that the zones are the temperature
They shouldn't because different time zones have the sun over them at a different times and some people would have 12 noon when it is dark out and others would have it at dawn. This would mess up our lives and make life far more complicated than dealing with time zones.
There is a 6 hour time difference. It is actually 7 time zones different, as some time zones are not 1 hour.
Temperate zones are either of the two intermediate latitude zones of the earth. Some countries on the temperate zones are Australia, France, the USA, China and New Zealand.
Some sites say 6 and some say 24 but I believe there are 24.
There are actually greater difficulties in having so few timezones for such a wide area. The result is that while two different areas have the same time, they are actually in very different parts of the day. Division into four zones would perhaps make more sense, but because the zoning is based on a global model, there is not much that can be done, however, one area notably has its own unofficial zone, to lessen the difference between neighbouring states at different times of the year (i.e. when dalight saving is applied in one but not the other).
In south temperate zones the seasons are different so in some regions of the world it can
Different types of plants and animals live in torrid temperature zones compared to frigid zones. Tropical animals such as parrots and monkeys live in torrid temperatures zones. Plants like banana and coconut trees are in torrid zones. Animals like polar bears and arctic foxes live in frigid zones.
U.S. Time Zones are bent so a whole state can be in the same time zone, however some time zones run through the ends of other states but it doesn't matter as long as it's not running through the center.
The new plates come in at different times. Some states comes in annually and some many years apart.
