Not more so than any other type of dog.
Are chocolate labs better pets than Springer Spaniels?
Technically, chocolate labs do make better pets over springer spaniels. Springer spaniels are expensive, espically for a purebred, but that does not mean they are better family dogs. Chocolate labs as well as other labs are known to be more affectionate that springers. Chocolates overall make a better family pet compared to springers. They are great around children and enhance a strong bond.

Springer Spaniels will pretty much eat whatever you give them. That is different from the question - What should you be feeding your Springer Spaniel. I think it kind of depends. Like, Labradors are kind of big so they could get big. But Springer Spaniels are smaller I think so it could be smaller. I think It depends on if it has more Labrador or Spaniel in it. I have a Labradinger and he's strong but quite runty.

Are welsh springer spaniels bad for people with dog allergies?
I don't think springer spaniels are a good choice for allergy sufferers. They are large dogs that have a lot of hair and they also shed quite a bit of dander. My parents have an English springer spaniel and I get skin allergies sometimes when I pet the dog and she makes my eyes itchy ever once in a while. I own a small rat terrier and have slight allergies to this dog but not to the extent as the springer because she's about 1/5th the size. I think the main concern is if you know you have allergies to dogs it might not be worth the risk to purchase one, especially not a large dog that will give you more dander than a smaller dog. At first I was really sad that I couldn't buy a springer (due to allergies) but the smaller dog has been just as fun, energetic and loving as the springer is.

Based on general breed charactistics, yes. Cocker Spaniels are more aggressive towards people than Pit Bulls are, which are generally way more aggressive towards other dogs than Cocker Spaniels are.Though it depends a lot on the breeding and upbringing of each animal.

What is the best types of dog you can have as a pet?
i would say a dog with a gentle nature and is calm around kids. a puppy would be a big challenge so if you get an 18 month old one it would still be young but more easy to love! the best breed for a family would probably be a labrador, a lurcher { as there very lazy after walks!}, or springer spaniels.
