the most common reason is the switch that mounts to the brake peddal is malfunctioning. somecars and truckshave this switch mounted on the mastercylinder. it is difficult to get to and see on some cars and trucks it is under the dash mounted to the brake peddal. some are simple good luck
Either the switch that turns the backup lights on is out of adjustment, or has failed in the on position.

There is a second light switch that activates the parking lights without the key being on. It is on top of the steering column behind the steering wheel. If this switch is turned off and the lights remain on when the key is off, there is a malfunction in this circuit.
The abs light is on because there is a problem with the abs system. Until the problem is fixed the light will remain on. Once the problem is fixed the light will reset itself after a short drive.
if you leave the parking lights switch "ON" the lights will remain on, even if the car has been turned off.

Unfortunately, you can't as it is programmed to remain on automatic via the cars software. You can however just wash the front screen without washing the lights at the same time, but you will need to ensure that your auto lights are set to the off position (obviously not whilst driving at night!).
In the back should be tail lights which always come on when the headlights or parking lights are on, and stoplights which come on whenever the brakes are pressed. The stoplights should be brighter than the tail lights, but they should be separate.
