Why do the channels on my television change by themselves The numbers litterally get typed in and the cahnnel changes This is not my DVR and I do have satellite?

Chances are that neighbor of yours (or a prankster) is using a remote that is programmed to the same remote code as your television is programmed to. Television Remotes work using infrared light, which means there must be a clear line of sight between the offenders remote and your T.V. such as through a window. It may be a simple as closing the blinds on your window when you are watching T.V.
