The owners and or directors of the wiki dot answers dot comdon't know a thing about graphic design and why one should never post a website in inaccessible, user-unfriendly and hard-to-read (at best) to unreadable (at worst) website font-type and text.

Thus the wiki dot answers dot com website is not designed for the public but is solely designed for the edification of the folks who posted the website.

If they wanted to make the website readable, user-friendly and accessible, they would use solid black font-type and text. They follow the lead of other companies (or non-profits) who also know nothing about website design nor the most basic facts of graphic design, e.g. the website meetup dot com.

The meetup website designers and director prefer and use zero-contrast type-font and text throughout all of their pages. It offers a stunning example of a completely useless website that shows contempt for middle aged and older internet users (e.g. those born around 1984 and prior).

Another example is that of the site wordpress. Wordpress, like meetup, offers another stunning example of completely useless website design, designed by website designers who nothing absolutely nothing about graphic design.

The font design of WikiAnswers may be a standard choice based on the platform's overall design and user experience considerations. While it may appear as inaccessible or unreadable to some users, it's also possible that the color and font choice aim to create a consistent and professional aesthetic across the website. Feedback on readability and accessibility can be valuable for website improvements.
