Why do the headlights on my 2002 Cavalier work and then not work but the DTLs always work?

That is going to be in the headlight cluster switch on the collum. Simple to do.Or in the headlight wiring harness between the bumper and radiator.Those wire harness gets moisture in them and corrodes the splices.GM used black Duct Tape instead of shrink tubing.Redo the slices one at a time so you know its not a short in the wiring.But you will have to wait until the lights go out because you cant fix them if they are working...good luck
