Best Answer

Because the tiger's already know that the sickly/injured will not be able to fight back aswell, which makes them the perfect meal.

How do tigers affect change in the environment?

One effect is they aid in keeping the population of herding animals thinned and healthy. There are two ways in which they do this. Firstly, they pick off sickly or injured animals. Secondly, they prevent overpopulation. When a species becomes overpopulated they can begin running into problems such as starvation.

What would win in a fight a tiger or a grizzly?

Probably tigers. Bears are strong, but tigers have great speed and dexterity. They are not weak animals either. tigers and bears do not live in the same habitat, so that won't happen and a tiger wouldn't pick a fight with something that's 7 times bigger than it. Fights have been arranged between Grizzly bears and all kinds of other animals. Including lions and tigers. In every instance the bear has won.

Would the extinction of lions affect the world?

Yes, of course it would. The animals that lions eat would flourish in population numbers. The animals that lions eat may even become pests, and the animals that they eat would become endangered. This is because the more the population grows the more they need to eat. The lion is at the top of the food chain. If it becomes extinct, it throws the ecosystem of the area off. It is like a chain effect: without the lion, there really isn't any other predator to keep control of the quantities of animals there are. And that would completely throw off the balance of the world's ecosystems.

How do you fix a rabbit's dislocated leg?

If a rabbit is injured it means it has a lot of pain from where ever it is injured. To pick up a rabbit which has injured legs you MUST not touch their legs. You can pick it up any way just not the legs. I (personally) pick a rabbit up by its waist. By picking it up the way I do it, I am not near its legs.

Do tigers try to hurt us?

No, tigers do not "try to hurt you". However, like most wild animals - and ALL varieties of cat! - tigers play only one game. This game is called "Catch it And Eat It". Even when the tiger is not particularly hungry, his "games" and play behaviors are focused on hunting. It is not uncommon for humans to be injured, and occasionally killed, when they play with tigers. For example, Roy Horn, of "Sigfried and Roy", was almost killed by his tiger Montecore during a Las Vegas show on October 3, 2003. We may never really know why the tiger "attacked", but some animal experts believe that after Roy stumbled and fell, the tiger was trying to pick Roy up and carry him to safety, much like mother cat will do for her kittens. Unfortunately, being "rescued" by a tiger's teeth can look a lot like being eaten or mauled.
