No, tigers do not "try to hurt you". However, like most wild animals - and ALL varieties of cat! - tigers play only one game. This game is called "Catch it And Eat It". Even when the tiger is not particularly hungry, his "games" and play behaviors are focused on hunting. It is not uncommon for humans to be injured, and occasionally killed, when they play with tigers.
