Often this is due to buffering problems, especially on a busy or low speed network. We all share the same pipes and when lots of people are using the network, your slice of time (computing power) gets smaller.
I believe you may be referring to the buffer, which happens when a video has to load more of the videos data before it can play again. Most of the time the cause of this is a slow internet connection. Other times it would be hardware problems that supply the internet connection to you. I will also say that it may not be a slow internet connection, perhaps its just what it is suppose to be and that may not be enough, example = Dial up internet
My guess is that you have to many things downloaded to your computer or there is a bug that you havn't fixed. That's my guess.
Because it's loading

Movies may stop on YouTube because the video may not have finished loading. You may want to also make sure that your internet connection is stable and is not broken in any way.
Because the videos are buffering. Basically, because you are watching them in high definition, they are a lot larger files, so they take longer to download. The easiest way is to select your video, and as soon as it starts playing, pause it and wait a minute or 2. Then it should be ok.
No you will have to re upload the video the videos you already uploaded stay there.
