Becuase of the different standards held to women and men in the past it was a womans job to look pretty and work in the home this puts more pressure on women to keep up apperances as broken nails are annoying when you are trying to grow your nails also colds make people more unattactive and affects women more also women tend to discuss these things but generAly it's just because they don't like having a cold or broken nail and want sympathy----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- my answer is not all women do! some of use just do it CAUSE WE CAN!! lol good luck --- no really i think its because women have allways all through time have been treated as the weaker sex so we complain just to keep a reminder of poor me {love me coddle me treat me well} ect... its not like we even do it on purpose its been ingrained in us from children seeing our mother's aunt's ect... do it over history ...... now if you take a women who was raised by men or nuns ect... in a place where there was no male /female relationship just watch them for a while you will most likely see them complain ALOT less!! .
