Just because she's looking for some attention and don't get it. In our so-feminized society, woman get almost anything they want and are not used to be refused something. In fact, at first, the most you don't give her that attention the most she'll get mad. Even if it does not seem, there will be an end to that and she'll get used. No choice. Being myself a women, the best advice I could give you is to buy yourself an anwsering machine haha but never give her what she wants easily because it will get worse and worse with time.
