Humans are creatures of habit. Whether is be good or bad, we fear change. Alot of the emotion wreckage that is left behind from an abuser needs to be dealt with in a healthy manner. Whether is be a complete change in atmosphere or surroundings or with the help of a abuse group or a therapist. Women who get beaten, not only have the scars from the physical, their psyche gets messed with too. They are emotionally drained of any and all positivity in their lives and some feel they dont deserve better. Either way, a positive thing is that the abuser is gone and now another chapter, a better chapter can happen for this woman and her children. She needs to reach out to the community where she lives for help. Dont keep this a dirty little secret because it wasnt her fault or the childrens fault and they need help. The shame is not hers to have nor the children and other people of kind heart know this and are willing to help.
There can be various reasons why some women may struggle to leave an abusive relationship. Factors such as fear, low self-esteem, financial dependence, cultural or religious beliefs, and a lack of support can make it difficult for them to leave. It is important to recognize that every situation is unique, and it is crucial to provide these women with empathetic and non-judgmental support.
