Members of the human race make decisions with their minds which often results in taking action or not taking action when the person faces an issue. These actions or non actions may create a favorable or unfavorable situation for this person(s). An unfavorable decision and its resulting action may place an individual in a bad situation. Fate does not enter this equation. Here is a simple illustration that actually utilizes the concept of prisoner. A person needs money and decides to rob a liqueur store to obtain the money. This person is arrested and tried by a court. This person becomes a prisoner in a penitentiary as a result of his decision. To add amplify this: a man becomes a prisoner of his mind that has made a bad decision.

I agree with the statement because it emphasizes the power of mindset and perspective in shaping one's reality. Men have the ability to overcome challenges and change their circumstances by altering their beliefs and thoughts. By understanding and controlling their minds, individuals can break free from self-imposed limitations and strive towards their goals.

Are we prisoners in the same way that Plato's characters are?

Plato's "Allegory of the Cave" suggests that humans are prisoners of their limited perceptions and beliefs. However, unlike the characters in the allegory who are physically bound, humans have the ability to free themselves by expanding their knowledge and understanding of the world. This implies that while we may be constrained by societal norms and preconceived notions, we can break free through self-awareness and critical thinking.

What does fate leads him who follows it and drags him who resist mean?

This phrase suggests that those who accept and embrace their fate will find it guiding them towards their destiny, while those who fight against their fate will face difficulties and challenges that seem like they are being dragged along. It implies that there is a sense of flow and ease when one is aligned with their destined path, and resistance only leads to more obstacles and struggles.
