You could have a seratonin deficiency. This means that your brain isn't producing enough 'happy hormones'. This is nothing to do with you life situation and is about having a lack of the right chemicals in your brain. I'd suggest you see a doctor about a short course of anti-depresants to help raise your levels. I'm no expert
