possible coolant leaking internal, check oil filler cap for whitish slush, if it a gm vehicle you probably have intake gasket leak. cheers!!!
there are 2 separate oil galleries the crankcase holds half a quart. i change mine every 15 hours of riding. the transmission holds about 3/4 of a quart and i change that every 3rd oil change

Because the carburetor on these motors are no good after a few years. The carburetor will spew large amounts of gas into the crankcase and you do need to change the oil about 3 times after this happens to protect your engine and get all the gas out of your crankcase. The replacement carbs are supposed to be much better than the ones supplied with your engine. A new carb is about $125.00 excluding labor.
1. The crankcase breather may be plugged. or---- 2. Too much crankcase pressure. There is too much blowby (combustion gasses leaking by the rings or piston), causing excessive pressure in the crankcase. To repair this, you will need to re-ring or bore out the engine with new pistons and rings.
