Why do you get high randomly on and off after smoking weed after couple of days. is it the THC still in my body?

I DONT KNOW!! Its happening to me right now as im typing this and i havnet smoked in days. It happens every few hours and it scares me senseless. I dont know what to do either. just glad im not alone...
