I use xanax not only for nerves but also as a mild musle relaxer.The problem id that it may reduce muscle tension but it also depletes the body of much needed potassium.Lack of pottasium is a well known reason for leg cramps.you may ask your Dr. for prescription of this vitiman. And also right befor taking a xanax eat a bananna it is full of potassium and really does help the cramps
