Okay, a show breed is typically heavier boned than a working breed but at that weight I presume you are talking about a King German Shepherd which was made for those who wanted an even bigger and more teddy bear looking dog.
They are just as loyal but a lot bigger and more imposing looking to an intruder and more sweeter looking to someone who knows him/her.
According to Wikipedia the King Shepherd can get to 150 pounds so I'm pretty confident this breed is what you mean.

Unless you want to pay to get the dog professional attack training (which I don't suggest) then there is really no way to make a german shepherd kill a robber. But I do know that they make excellent natural guard dogs. If a german shepherd knows and loves you then they will fight for you with there life if the situation arises, one of the reasons the police use them so much. Although, just by having a german shepherd in your house would be enough to keep robbers away.
