Why do you have dogs?

Dogs are very clever, loyal, comforting creatures. Humans have dogs for many reasons: studies show that dogs lower risks of heart attacks and other illnesses; people that have had a pet dog as a child are 79.9% less likely to have Allergies; they help to comfort; they love you for whoever you are and they don't care what you look like unlike humans. many hospitals have dogs in the wards to cheer patients up. When I hear stories of cruelty of dogs I don't understand the sick minds of some. I want to get the message accross to EVERYONE that dogs are LOVING creatures and are not to be treated like dirt.
