And when you pray you have to take your shoes off because the holy prophet muhammed was wearing his shoes when he was praying and then angel gabriel came to him during his prayer and told him that you have to take your shoes off and he did.He did this because you walk on unclean ground and when you pray in the mosque you must be clean.:]
