repair java I have found that most errors come from conflicts with "Virus/Spyware Programs" when Java is set to auto update. I solved my problem by pausing or turning the VirusSpyware Protection off temporarily and downloading updates directly from Java. Go to your Control Panel and look for the Java icon ... click on it and you will see a tab to update along with settings for automatic updates with which you can change to manual.
