Why do you need the Bible?

Man needs The Bible because it is the Word of God and is otherwise simply unable to be known via human wisdom:-

2Pe 1:21 For no prophetic message ever came just from the human will, but people were under the control of the Holy Spirit as they spoke the message that came from God.

2Ti 3:16-17 KJV All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: [v. 17] That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

Job 28:20, 23-24, 28 GNB Where, then, is the source of wisdom? Where can we learn to understand? [v. 23] God alone knows the way, Knows the place where wisdom is found, [v. 24] Because he sees the ends of the earth, Sees everything under the sky. ...[v. 28] God said to us humans, "To be wise, you must have reverence for the Lord. To understand, you must turn from evil."

Job 32:8 But it is the spirit of Almighty God that comes to us and gives us wisdom.

Psa 111:10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.

Pro 1:7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.

Isa 33:6 And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, and strength of salvation: the fear of the LORD is his treasure.
