∙ 14y agoIf you have data and you want to put more data in, between two existing sets of data, like between two rows that are beside each other, or two columns that are beside each other, you would insert rows or columns. Sometimes it is not necessary to insert a full row, like when you want to move some data down. In that case you might choose to just insert some cells. If you wanted to get rid of them, you can delete cells.
