snakes do have noses but they only use them to breath. they do not smaell wih their noses. they taste the air with heir tongue and that is the closest thing they have to smelling

Why do people have noses you can breathe by your mouth right?
for many reasons. one is that it is nice to be able to breathe without having your mouth open all the time. if that were true then we would have much more germs and bacteria entering our bodies (our noses have hairs in them that block germs, etc, from getting in you). another is so that we can smell, and taste. did you know that sometimes when we taste something, if we didn't have the sense of smell it would taste different? this is because the mind is a powerful thing and when we imagine what something will taste like do to its smell, it usually tastes pretty close to what we imagined it to taste like simply because your mind convinced you that it does. lastly, we'd all look pretty funny without noses, and it's thanks to God that we were given them, hallelujah! lol
