Because it is simply too expensive and there is not enough gold.
Yes. The big high-tension wires are made of steel. You could make gold wires--very expensive military electronics have gold wiring in some places. Silver is a good wire to use. Copper and aluminum are used for most wiring because they work well and are inexpensive.
In household wiring it is the "hot" wire that carries current to the load.
A wire terminal is used in electrical wiring. It is used to hold the wires when wiring switches and receptacles. There are different types of terminals including screw terminals.
We don't see gold wire used in microwave ovens. Gold wire is super expensive, and we can use copper more easily and for less money.
use wiring tool it is number 4 or 5
Metals such as gold, silver, copper, and aluminum are able to be stretched into wire due to their malleability and ductility properties. These metals can be drawn out into thin strands without breaking, making them ideal for use in various applications such as electrical wiring and jewelry making.
THHN wire is suitable for use in residential and commercial electrical wiring applications, such as powering outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures.
Outdoor wire is harder to work with but you can use it indoors.
A domestic D/W uses 14 gauge wire.
Copper or somtimes Gold
To efficiently run wire through studs when installing electrical wiring in a wall, you can use a fish tape or a wire snake to guide the wire through the studs. Make sure to drill holes in the center of the studs and use protective plates to prevent damage to the wire. Additionally, plan the wiring route beforehand to minimize the number of studs you need to pass through.
Pre terminated wires may mean one of a couple things. At least to my knowledge. Generally a pre terminated wire is a wire in use or that is connected thru in an operating device of some sort. The wiring in the state it came from the "assembly plant.' Non-terminated wiring generally refers to wiring that is not in use or not connected yet. "Terminated wires" are "connected wires." Pre-terminated could also refer to some wiring that already has the "connectors" placed on the wire. Not just a bare wire w/o connectors. Non-terminated could mean a piece of wire without "connectors" on it.
