That is the same as askin why do people eat tomatoes? it could be because they like the taste and the healthiness (like me) or some believe it helps you see in the dark it is kind of open to interpretation really hope this helps =)

∙ 15y agoMost people just don't like the texture of the skin. As long as the carrot is properly washed it should not matter, in fact much of the nutrients are in the skin, as with potatoes as well.
